From a humble beginning in a small town waiting for The End of the World, to a blistering
touring career in LA and beyond – Wesley David has lived 2 very different lives. The only thing
that has held them – and himself – together, is music.
A former touring musician & Top 100 Piano Bar entertainer in the United States, and originally
the founder of the most recognizable Piano Bar style group in the entire state of Arizona – his is
a story of taking the long route to an authentic musical life.
Having left behind a rigidly unusual conservative religious upbringing, “his narrative styled,
tongue-in-cheek lyricism tells stories of heartache, psychological trauma, learning to think for
one’s self, transformation and acceptance, with the occasional nod to the mundane absurdities
of living in the digital age.” (Long Beach Post – Album Review)
During the 2020 Pandemic and after many years both on the road and playing in LA bands, he
released his debut record ‘Never Late Than Better’ and its eventual follow up ‘Satori’ in 2022
produced by Thom Flowers (The Ataris, Steve Perry).
“It was so many years of trying to ‘make it’ with songs I wrote in my 20’s and was
hanging onto for dear life…The Pandemic changed my entire world. It was a glorious
“Nothing to lose” moment and I wrote this kind of nerdy, Prog-Rock-Pop album I’m the
proudest of to this day.”
In 2022/23 Wes headlined The Listening Room Café (Nashville) along with 3 other performers
and in June came off a UK tour featuring a headlining performance at the Southport Food
Festival in Liverpool, several stadium-wide plays of his 2022 single “Easy for YOU” at Liverpool FC home games, plus guest performances at The Cavern Club. It speaks well to his
sensibilities: Bands from the UK modern Rock world like Oasis and Radiohead, to avant-garde
60’s UK Prog-Pop like Emerson Lake and Palmer or early Led Zeppelin.
His live show is an unforgettable mix of music, storytelling, and the poignant disbelief of getting
older but not giving up that your best is still ahead of you.
A songwriter who never lost a uniquely courageous, roll-up-your-sleeves English Rock ‘n’ Roll
spark – His quietly deep, poignant songs sit right where belief fights doubt — where nostalgia
isn’t escapism, but proof that feeling this deeply once means it can happen again.
“It’s all about restoring self-belief, maybe mine, yours, and anyone listening.”
With a new single (“Silent Rides” – produced by Miner St Studios, Philadelphia) just out in
October and a new record on the way for 2026, Wes’ hopeful, 90’s inspired guitar riffs and lush
acoustic elements doesn’t say “remember when.” It says, “maybe still.”
